Designed by Marta McCall This exuberant Gauguin-inspired, over-sized cushion is a painting in wool.   A palette of 18 colors expresses the passionate tropical mix of flora. The knitting is much easier than you might think; large blocks of color are knit in, the multi-color detail is embroidered on after knitting using a large back stitch (or leaf stitch), and then the cushion front is felted.  This impressive piece is a perfect fit in both classic and modern interiors.
